The Power of Affirmations

Affirmations are incredible tools to use and serve yourself to reach a better place mentally and emotionally. Affirmations are positive statements that may help you manifest your heart's desire into reality.

When you repeat affirmations daily, even as a skeptic, in time, you will come to believe what you are saying. You will reprogram new beliefs and overwrite the old ones that have kept you from expressing your true self.

Practice Affirming Yourself Every Day

Attaching affirmations to daily activities is not time-consuming and it helps control what you're thinking during a short period of time. For example, as I'm brushing my teeth I look into the mirror and like to practice affirming myself. The first affirmation I use is, "Every day, in every way, I am younger, healthier, and more joyful."

I find that it helps permeate self-structure. In fact, it has been scientifically proven that thoughts and intentions can alter water molecules in crystals. We're 60% water so it's sensible to believe that practicing affirmations on a daily basis has a positive effect on our minds and will produce good results in time. Not to mention that personal experience is the truest proof I will ever need.

So, affirmations are very powerful tools in programming our energy. We all have things that we allowed to reign our lives for far longer than it's healthy for us. It's not unusual for some of the things that you're holding on to, to be outdated or beliefs that you no longer resonate with.

If you find that they're hard to let go of, try this affirmation, "Dear God, pour through me, cleansing away all the thoughts and belief systems that no longer serve my highest and best good."

This is my go-to affirmation when I'm in the shower and stretching. I simply imagine my old belief system washing away and going down the drain. Trust me when I say that turning this into a habitual practice will make you feel cleaner on the inside and out.

The power of affirmations lies in their repeated and frequent utilization. This is a great practice for people who are interested in developing their intuition and enhancing their spiritual journey.

Practice Affirmations During Meditation

Practicing meditation can be one of the best ways to relieve stress, increase clarity and calmness, and promote inner peace and happiness. And one of the best ways to make the most out of your meditation session is to couple it with affirmation practices.

Setting an intention before you go into meditation is one of the best ways to use affirmations. It will help you manifest your thoughts and intentions into the world. I would suggest integrating an affirmation that best suits your heart's desire whenever you go into a meditative state.

One of my favorite affirmations to use during my meditation practice is, "My meditation is deeper and deeper. Guide me deeper and closer to thee." and "Right husband, right home, right now."

Finally, I find that lyrical and song-like affirmations that rhyme work best for manifestation. Keep your affirmations short, sweet, and in the present. Another one of my favorite affirmations that I say all the time is, "I'm healthy, wealthy, and wise."

Practicing daily affirmations can have a tremendous impact on your life, and it's especially helpful for people who are looking to tap into their spiritual side or want to manifest positivity in their lives.
